Ingredients:
1 pound fresh bay scallops
1/2 cup oil
1/2 tablespoon thyme
1/2 cup dry white wine
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Put the scallops in a shallow bowl and dredge them in flour.
- In a large frying pan, heat oil and butter. Add thyme and garlic. Saute until garlic gets brown.
- Add scallops and saute until lightly colored. Add white wine at last minute and simmer. Season with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve immediately.
