Quick Shrimp Gumbo
Would you like to eat gumbo but you don`t have much time to prepare it? This recipe might be an alternative for you. Simple and quick to prepare.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 cup okra, sliced
1 can chicken gumbo
2 cans shrimp
2 tablespoons flour
1 can chicken and rice soup
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Make roux with cooking oil and flour. Brown until dark brown color.
- Add okra. Season with salt and pepper. Add soup and carefully rinsed shrimp. Simmer until hot. Serve over rice.
