New England Clam Chowder IV

A variation of New England clam chowder recipe

Ingredients:
2 cans clams, minced
3 strips bacon
1 small onion, cubed
3 potatoes, cubed
4 cups half and half
1/2 stick butter (or margarine)
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Fry and drain bacon and onions. Crumble bacon up.

  2. In another pan, cook potatoes with some water until tender.

  3. Add potatoes to bacon and onion mixture. Add half and half, minced clams and butter. Heat.

  4. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
