| New England Clam Chowder IV A variation of New England clam chowder recipe Ingredients: 2 cans clams, minced 3 strips bacon 1 small onion, cubed 3 potatoes, cubed 4 cups half and half 1/2 stick butter (or margarine) Salt and pepper to taste
Directions: - Fry and drain bacon and onions. Crumble bacon up.
- In another pan, cook potatoes with some water until tender.
- Add potatoes to bacon and onion mixture. Add half and half, minced clams and butter. Heat.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
