A Chinese shrimp recipe that combines shrimps, some vegetables and noodle. To be served as main dish
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons peanut oil
1/2 pound shrimp
2 carrots, shredded
2 sl ginger, minced
1 cup cabbage
1 green onion, minced
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 pound chinese noodle
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- Cook noodle as directed on package. Drain, rinse in cold water, add a few drops oil and mix to keep from sticking.
Set aside.
- Mix together shrimp, ginger, green onion, cornstarch, sugar, light soy. Set aside to marinate.
- Heat wok to smoking, add 2 tablespoons oil. Stir fry shrimp mixture two minutes, do not overcook, Reserve.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil, stir fry carrots and cabbage two minutes.
- Add noodle, stir well and cook a few minutes.
- Add shrimp mixture, 1 tablespoon soy sauce and salt. stir a minute to heat and serve.
