| Linguine with White Clam SauceA delicious combination of pasta and clams Ingredients: 1 pound linguine pasta 3 (8 ounces) cans minced clams 1/4 cup olive oil 1 clove garlic, minced 3/4 cup parsley 2 tablespoon white wine 1 tablespoon basil 1/2 tablespoon salt
Directions: - Cook linguine according to package instructions.
- Drain juice from clams, reserve. In a saucepan, over medium heat, heat oil. Saute garlic until tender.
- Stir in clam juice and remaining ingredients, except clams. Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in clams, cook sauce until clams are warm.
- Add the sauce to the cooked pasta and toss well. Serve immediately.
