Linguine with White Clam Sauce

A delicious combination of pasta and clams

Ingredients:
1 pound linguine pasta
3 (8 ounces) cans minced clams
1/4 cup olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 cup parsley
2 tablespoon white wine
1 tablespoon basil
1/2 tablespoon salt


Directions:

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions.

  2. Drain juice from clams, reserve. In a saucepan, over medium heat, heat oil. Saute garlic until tender.

  3. Stir in clam juice and remaining ingredients, except clams. Cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Stir in clams, cook sauce until clams are warm.

  5. Add the sauce to the cooked pasta and toss well. Serve immediately.
