| Grilled Tuna SteaksTuna steaks are marinated in a garlic-lemon-oregano marinade, then grilled. This is a tasty and healthy dish.
Yield: 4 Servings Ingredients: 4 tuna steaks, 1 inch thick (about 7 ounces each) 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest 1/4 teaspoon salt Freshly ground pepper
Directions: - Prepare a charcoal grill.
- Meanwhile, rinse the tuna, pat dry, and place in a shallow glass or ceramic dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients. Pour over the fish and cover with plastic wrap. Marinate for 30-45 minutes in the refrigerator.
- When the fire is ready, drain the tuna and place it in a fish basket. Grill the steaks 4" from the heat, 5 minutes per side or until tuna is done. Baste with remaining marinade if desired.
