| Garlic and Rosemary Shrimp with SpaghettiGarlicky shrimps with fresh rosemary and served with spaghetti. A tasty and light pasta dish. Yield: 4 Servings Ingredients: 10 ounces dry spaghetti 1 pound medium-large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined 2 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 1 large garlic bulb, cloves separated and peeled 1/4 cup dry white wine 1/2 cup chicken broth 1 tablespoon lemon juice 3 bay leaves 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper Salt to taste
Directions:
- Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling lightly salted water until al dente. Drain and reserve.
- Melt butter with olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic cloves and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in wine, broth, lemon juice, bay leaves, rosemary, crushed red pepper and oregano; bring to a boil.
- Add shrimp and cook 5-6 minutes or just until shrimps turn pink. Remove bay leaves.
- Add pasta to skillet and mix well. Season to taste with salt.
