Broiled Scallops Recipe
Basil, rosemary and lemon are combined to enrich the flavor of this broiled scallop dish. Just
pay attention that it should be marinated for at least 2 hours.
Ingredients:
2 pounds sea or bay scallops (bay scallops remain whole; sea scallops Slice in half)
6 basil leaves, chopped
2 rosemary sprigs
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1/4 cup veg oil
tabasco to taste
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Place scallops in bowl with remaining ingredients and marinate for 2 hrs or longer.
- Remove and arrange in one layer in baking dish. Broil 3 mins, turn and broil 3 mins longer
until barely cooked through. Don't overcook or they will toughen.
