Barbecued Salmon with Basil

Fresh basil gives an aromatic flavour to the salmon steaks. A quick and easy way to prepare grilled salmon.

Barbecued Salmon with Basil

Yield: 4 Servings

Ingredients:
4 salmon steaks (6 to 8 ounces each)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges

Directions:

  1. Combine lemon juice, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper. Brush on both sides of salmon.

  2. Grill over medium hot coals 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes when tested with a fork. Serve with lemon wedges.
