Barbecued Salmon with Basil
Fresh basil gives an aromatic flavour to the salmon steaks. A quick and easy way to prepare grilled salmon.
Yield: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
4 salmon steaks (6 to 8 ounces each)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges
Directions:
- Combine lemon juice, olive oil, basil, salt and pepper. Brush on both sides of salmon.
- Grill over medium hot coals 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes when tested with a fork. Serve with lemon wedges.
