Baked Scallops Recipe

Baked scallops recipe is easy to prepare and very tasty.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 pound sea scallops, cut in half
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/2 tablespoon pepper
1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 cup margarine, melted


Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together. Beat egg and milk together.

  2. Dip scallops in crumb mixture, egg mixture, and again in crumbs.

  3. Place dipped scallops in roasting pan and drizzle melted margarine over all.

  4. Bake at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
