This shrimp salad recipe combines typical ingredients used in Asian dishes, such as lime leaves and Thai peppers
Ingredients:
2 kaffir lime leaves (it can be substituted for lime leaves), cut in thin stripes
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
2 red Thai peppers, seeded and fein chopped
Juice from 3 lemons
1/2 cup fish sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
4 green onions, cut in circa 5cm length stripes
9 ounces small tomatoes, cut in halves
1 pound cooked, peeled shrimp
Directions:
- Mix the lemon juice, fish sauce and sugar in a large bowl until the sugar has dissolved.
- Add the shrimps, tomatoes, garlic, Thai peppers and green onions, mixing very well.
- Serve with bread.
